ionCube Loader
ionCube Loader required. Contact support@relyweb.co
What it means: GST Manager is ionCube-encoded; the server lacks the ionCube Loader extension or runs an outdated version.
What to do:
- Enable ionCube Loader for your PHP version (PHP 8.2 requires 13.0.2+; PHP 8.3 requires 14.4.0+; 15.x supported).
- Reload the page after enabling. See Requirements.
Activation
"Activation failed. Check activity log for details."
What it means: Addon activation failed under Setup → Addon Modules (table creation, template sync, hooks, or tax rules setup failed).
What to do:
- Check Utilities → Logs → Activity Log for specific error entries.
- Verify directory permissions (
modules/addons/gst_manager/) and PHP extensions. - Reactivate the module. If issues persist, contact
support@relyweb.cowith the log extract.
Update & license messages
These appear under Global Settings → Update Status and License Information. Invoicing and reports continue working during update warnings.
"Your Support & Updates plan has expired…"
What it means: Your Lifetime license's Support & Updates entitlement has lapsed.
What to do: The current version runs permanently without interruption. Renew Support & Updates to download newer versions. See Licensing.
"Could not verify your license right now…"
What it means: Licensing server connection timed out or was temporarily unreachable.
What to do: Wait a moment and retry Update Now. No action needed if not actively updating.
"… is published but its download is not yet available"
What it means: A release is published, but the distribution build package is pending deployment.
What to do: Update Now remains temporarily disabled. Retry after the distribution package goes live.
"Failed to download update…"
What it means: Update package download failed due to blocked outbound HTTPS or unverified license status.
What to do: Ensure outbound HTTPS (port 443) is allowed, verify license shows Active, and retry. Contact support@relyweb.co if downloads fail repeatedly.
"Backup verification failed…"
What it means: Pre-update snapshot validation failed; the update aborted safely before making changes.
What to do: Check server disk space and verify write permissions on modules/addons/gst_manager/, then retry Update Now.
Setup wizard
Step 3 (GSTIN & Tax Rules) is blocking. Invalid or missing entries display in red at the top of the step.
"That GSTIN is not valid. It must be 15 characters, e.g. 27ABCDE1234F1Z5."
What it means: Input format does not match the 15-character statutory GSTIN structure.
What to do: Re-enter your 15-character GSTIN exactly as registered.
"A GSTIN is required to continue. Enter your 15-character GSTIN, e.g. 27ABCDE1234F1Z5."
What it means: Attempted to advance past step 3 with an empty GSTIN field.
What to do: Enter your 15-character GSTIN. This is the only mandatory wizard input.
"Please choose your GST-registered state from the list."
What it means: No registered state selected in the dropdown on step 3.
What to do: Select your registered state from the dropdown menu, then click Next. See Troubleshooting.
