Set up subscriptions
The Cashfree Subscription gateway handles recurring billing via UPI AutoPay, eNACH, and card mandates. Because Cashfree lacks an automated plan-discovery API, plans must be created in Cashfree and mapped locally in AcelleMail.
INR-only
Cashfree Subscriptions are INR-only — only INR-priced plans are eligible. A plan in any other currency won't map.
1. Create the plan in Cashfree
Cashfree Dashboard → Subscriptions → Plans → create each recurring plan (amount, interval, currency INR). When saved, copy its plan_id.
2. Paste the plan IDs into the gateway
- Navigate to Admin → Payment Gateways → Cashfree Subscription → Edit.
- Enter your Cashfree
plan_idvalues (one per line) into the Cashfree Plan IDs field. - Save changes to whitelist these plans for recurring billing.
3. Map each local plan
- Open Admin → Remote Plan Mappings.
- Pair each AcelleMail plan with its matching Cashfree
plan_idand click Map. - Match requirements: Local and remote plans must have identical currency and pricing.

Only mapped, INR-priced plans expose the Subscription gateway to customers. An unmapped or non-INR plan is simply not offered the Cashfree Subscription option at checkout.
What the customer sees
Customers are redirected to Cashfree's hosted page to "Authorize ₹:amount recurring mandate". Once authorized, renewals process automatically via webhook notifications without customer intervention.
Recurring debit windows
Per NPCI rules, recurring debits run outside the non-peak windows — that is, not during 10 AM–1 PM or 5 PM–9:30 PM IST. A renewal may land just outside those hours.
