# Settings reference

Configure Zoho Payments at **Setup → Payment Gateways → Zoho Payments**. This page provides a reference for all nine settings and defaults. For setup instructions, see [Configuration](/zoho-payments-whmcs/configuration).

## Gateway fields

| Field | What to enter | Default |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Account ID** | Your Zoho Payments Account ID | *(empty)* |
| **Widget API Key** | API key from the Zoho Developer Space (used for the payment widget) | *(empty)* |
| **Client ID** | OAuth Client ID from the Zoho Developer Console | *(empty)* |
| **Client Secret** | OAuth Client Secret | *(empty)* |
| **Refresh Token** | Generated with the **"Click Here to Generate Token"** helper link | *(empty)* |
| **Data Center** | `IN` (India / .in) or `US` (United States / .com) | `IN` |
| **Webhook Secret** | Secret from Zoho Payments webhook settings — the field also shows your Webhook URL | *(empty)* |
| **Test Mode** | `Yes` = sandbox/testing; `No` = live | `No` |
| **License Key** | Your Zoho Payments license key from relyweb.co | *(empty)* |

::: tip Refresh token and webhook registration

* **Refresh Token:** Save **Client ID** and **Client Secret** first, then click **"Click Here to Generate Token"**.
* **Webhook URL:** The Webhook Secret field displays your endpoint to register in Zoho:
  `https://yourdomain.com/modules/gateways/zohopayments/webhooks/paylink_webhook.php`

## Test Mode and Data Center

Two fields change how and where the gateway talks to Zoho:

* **Data Center:** Matches your Zoho account region (**IN** for `.in`, **US** for `.com`). Default: `IN`. All OAuth credentials and API keys must match this region.
* **Test Mode:** Toggles sandbox vs live processing (`Yes` = test; `No` = live). Default: `No`. See the [Going live guide](/zoho-payments-whmcs/guides/going-live).

## Where to see gateway activity {#gateway-log}

Zoho Payments logs activity to **Utilities → Logs → Gateway Log**:

* **Transaction logs:** View checkout initializations, API responses, and webhook payloads.
* **Error diagnosis:** Check for token expiration, signature mismatches, or license validation issues.
* **Troubleshooting:** Review log entries before altering existing configurations.
