# Agent tools

Turn on **Agent chat** to let the chatbox execute actions across AcelleMail. The agent operates through the floating chatbox and targeted **AI Assist · …** pills on supported pages.

* **AI Assist pill (`relyweb-ai-pill`):** Opens the agent chatbox with current page context so the agent can perform actions.
* **AI Coach (`relyweb-ai-coach-…`):** Opens an advisory panel providing tips without modifying data. See [Coaches](/relyai-acellemail/features/coaches).

## What the agent can do

With the matching capabilities enabled:

| Tool | Action |
| --- | --- |
| **Read stats** | List, subscriber and campaign numbers |
| **Import subscribers from a CSV** | Bring contacts into a list |
| **Tag / untag in bulk** | Apply or remove a tag across many contacts |
| **Create automations from presets** | Welcome series, abandoned cart, win-back, birthday, post-purchase (look for **AI Assist · Automations**) |
| **Pause / resume campaigns** | Hold or restart a send |
| **Duplicate templates** | Copy a template to start a new one |
| **Read & fill fields on the page** | The on-page co-pilot reads the form and, with confirmation, types values in |

## The safety model

* **Confirmation first:** Destructive operations (such as pausing active campaigns or bulk untagging) require explicit modal confirmation.
* **Protected fields:** The form co-pilot blocks access to passwords, credit card numbers, CVVs, OTPs, and API keys.
* **Undo window:** Reversible actions display an inline **Undo** button (or accept **Cmd+Z**) during the active undo window.
* **Comprehensive auditing:** Every tool call is logged in the **Audit Viewer** with execution status, latency, and destructive-action filters.

## You opt in, capability by capability

Each tool is governed by its own feature flag under **RelyAI → Settings → Feature Flags**:

* **Enabled by default:** Reading list statistics, CSV subscriber imports, and bulk tagging.
* **Disabled by default:** Campaign pause/resume, template duplication, and preset automation tools.

Configure flags according to your operational and security requirements.

::: tip Enforces AcelleMail permissions
The agent executes with the permissions of the authenticated user. RelyAI feature flags restrict access further and never escalate user privileges.
