# Updating

Updates for Cashfree for AcelleMail are performed **manually**:

* **Package delivery:** Download new versions directly from the relyweb.co client area.
* **Data persistence:** Stored credentials, settings, and plan mappings persist automatically across updates.

## Download the update

1. Sign in to your **relyweb.co** client area and open your Cashfree for AcelleMail order.
2. Review the changelog to evaluate new features and bug fixes.
3. Download the latest release package (e.g. `relyweb-cashfree-vX.Y.Z.zip`).

## Upload it

1. Navigate to **Admin → Plugins → Upload Plugin** in AcelleMail.
2. Upload the new ZIP archive to replace existing plugin files in place.
3. **Settings persist automatically:** License keys, API credentials, Sandbox toggles, Webhook Secrets, and remote plan mappings remain stored in the database.

## What updates need (by license type)

Your download entitlement depends on your license:

* **Leased license:** Includes continuous Support & Updates to download all new releases throughout the active term.
* **Lifetime license:** Includes an initial Support & Updates window. Existing installs remain operational indefinitely after expiration, but accessing newer releases requires renewing Support & Updates.

If a download link is unavailable, your Support & Updates period has likely ended — renew it in the
relyweb.co client area. See [Licensing](/cashfree-acellemail/licensing) for the two license types.

## If text shows as a raw key

If UI labels display as **raw keys** (untranslated string identifiers) after updating:

1. Go to **Admin → Plugins**.
2. **Deactivate** and immediately **Reactivate** the Cashfree plugin once to reload translations.
3. Gateways re-generate automatically with all settings preserved.
